SanArtLAB: art and culture beyond healthcare.

Research on Italian healthcare began in the early 1990s. It was initially focused on the management and control models of the Italian Public Administration, from the perspective of subsidiarity and governance. Over the years, the objectives have concentrated within the scope of the Farmafactoring Foundation, with the social-healthcare perspective in the foreground.

With the annual report "Il sistema sanitario in controluce", produced in-house and in collaboration with Cergas-Bocconi and the Censis Foundation, the evolution of the healthcare demand, its growing complexity and the response capacity of the facilities distributed throughout Italy is analysed, as well as financial sustainability and the impact of central and regional decisions on socio-demographic dynamics.
