The second stop of the travelling exhibition "The new pilgrims" was hosted in the splendid setting of the Archbishop's Palace/Diocesan Museum of Palermo from 11 March to 3 April 2016.

Along with the exhibition, the curator and the three professional photographers met with the students of photography and art market economics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo for an educational opportunity. Young students of the Academy of Fine Arts were properly trained as guides in the Museum during the exhibition period, welcoming visitors to the exhibition.

The exhibition was presented for the first time on 19 November 2015 at the Galleria del Cembalo in Rome and then in Milan in May 2016. It has obtained the patronage of the Ministry of Health and also the patronage of the Sicilian Region in Palermo, Regional Councillorship of the Family, Social Policies and Labour (Special Immigration Office).
